Irene Nelson in the “Moscow Global” project
Irene Nelson became a member of the Moscow Global project, in which the director Alexander Golovanov and the blogger Michael Kafanov decided to look into the causes of the Russian emigration. According to the authors, the project must provide an answer to the question why people leave Moscow
The independent director Alexander Golovanov and the blogger Michael Kafanov decided to look into the causes of the Russian emigration. The new cultural crowdsourcing project Moscow Global is meeting these objectives. Now its authors actively collect video messages of those who left Moscow one day but nevertheless returned back for whatever reason. The musicians of “Bi-2″, “Reflex”, Anastasia Kochetkova, Danila Polyakov, Mitya Fomin, Maria Golubeva, Igor Gulyaev, Kate Lee, Leonid Rudenko and others gave interviews
The website of the project features 70 video messages from the project participants, the project team or simply uploaded by users. According to the director of the project, most of the participants express positive feedback about the city. Therefore, for the integrity and fairness of the picture, he called on people to send “their stories of success abroad.”
Now everyone can take part in the project!
To do this, call the project website via Skype and share your vision of emigration. Video interviews are accepted until the middle of November. The director is planning to create a documentary and to place its short version in social networks
